Senior Manager, Regional Venue Logistics

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to venues across a designated region
• Develop and deliver training programs for logistics personnel
• Monitor staff performance and foster a high-performance team culture
• Manage the overall Venue / Village Logistics budget and resource requirements
• Oversee functional allocation of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FFE)
• Collaborate with Event Management and Venue Infrastructure teams on space requirements
• Develop logistics operating plans, departmental policies, and operating protocols
• Lead incident response and resolution for logistics-related issues
• Monitor venue activities using command center tools and dashboards

Requirements

• 7 years of progressive logistics, supply chain, or venue operations leadership experience
• Proven management of 5+ direct reports and 50+ staff members
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment
• Ability to work on complex, tight, and immovable timelines
• Undergraduate degree in Logistics, Sport Management, or a relevant field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Venue Logistics management experience in a major event (e.g., Olympic/Paralympic Games, FIFA World Cup, Commonwealth Games)
