Senior Manager - Regional Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage regional T&D electric system operations, focusing on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction
• Develop and implement annual business plans, including O&M and Capital budgets
• Oversee work processes and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement
• Lead, train, and develop personnel while managing performance and staff selection
• Coordinate key contract bids and awards in partnership with Procurement
• Oversee service restoration processes and coordinate cross-functional problem-solving during electric emergencies
• Manage employee, labor, and customer relations, fostering constructive relationships with union leadership and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree/GED with 15 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of electric system construction, operations, planning, and related IT systems
• Proven leadership and managerial skills, including the ability to administer budgets and contracts
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and act as a mediator or negotiator with business partners
• Demonstrated ability to manage a safe work environment and coordinate with utility professionals

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior project management experience
• Leadership experience working within a union environment
