Senior Manager, Quality Systems

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with FDA OTC and ISO 22716 standards
• Establish quality policies, SOPs, and work instructions
• Qualify, audit, and monitor raw material suppliers and contract manufacturers
• Review batch records, COAs, and approve finished product testing results
• Oversee third-party testing laboratories for stability and microbiological testing
• Manage document control, change management, and risk assessments (FMEA)
• Establish and manage deviation, investigation, and CAPA systems
• Support complaint handling, adverse event reporting, and product recall readiness
• Partner with R&D and Supply Chain to ensure compliant manufacturing and sourcing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or Pharmaceutical Sciences
• 7+ years of quality experience in cosmetics, OTC, pharmaceutical, or personal care manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of FDA OTC regulations and cosmetic GMP (ISO 22716)
• Proven experience building or improving a Quality Management System
• Experience managing contract manufacturers and global suppliers
• Expertise in CAPA, root cause analysis, auditing, and risk assessment
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections
