Senior Manager, Quality Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and mentor Quality Engineers and Quality Supervisors
• Define and track departmental OKRs and KPIs, including SQF audit scores
• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the SQF system
• Serve as the primary SQF Practitioner and HACCP Coordinator
• Act as the primary point of contact for third-party, regulatory (FDA/USDA), and customer audits
• Oversee mock recall and mock trace exercises to ensure 100% recovery rates
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve WMS functionality and traceability
• Utilize Tableau, SQL, and Statistical Process Control to analyze quality trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Supply Chain, or a related technical field
• Over 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, or Process Engineering in food production or high-volume fulfillment
• Proficiency in Data Analysis and Statistical Process Control
• HACCP Certified and SQF Practitioner Certified
• Familiarity with FDA, USDA-AMS & FSIS, GFSI, and FSMA regulations
• Ability to spend 50% of time on the warehouse floor in cold environments (36°F and below)

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Spanish language proficiency
• Experience with Project Management methodologies
