Senior Manager, Public Policy

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop public policy campaigns to mitigate risks and promote growth
• Execute public policy strategy to influence regulations impacting host eligibility
• Represent Airbnb in meetings and events with government and elected officials
• Develop communications, stakeholder engagement strategies, and partnership programs
• Research and analyze ordinances and bills to articulate Airbnb's positions
• Manage local consultants and agencies to support policy efforts
• Monitor and analyze legislation and local issues with pan-regional implications

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in direct legislative lobbying or public policy
• Experience in government relations and advocacy at local and state levels
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a complex matrix organization
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Proven track record of an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving
• Willingness to travel
