Senior Manager, Propulsion Function Development and Calibration

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of BEV function development and calibration engineers
• Oversee BEV function development from concept through series production
• Develop control strategies for torque delivery, regenerative braking, and pedal mapping
• Manage BEV calibration activities across inverter and drive system domains
• Guide teams through test case development and validation across SiL, HiL, and vehicle testing
• Collaborate with systems engineering to ensure alignment with vehicle-level requirements
• Work with suppliers to align on software functionality and technical feasibility
• Contribute to BEV function and calibration roadmaps and maturity plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Controls, Automotive, or Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in BEV propulsion systems, motion control, or calibration
• Proven experience leading BEV function development from concept through production
• Prior people leadership experience managing engineers or technical teams
• Strong understanding of BEV propulsion architectures and motion control strategies
• Proficiency with calibration and data analysis tools like ETAS INCA and MATLAB/Simulink
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 20%
• Valid driver's license and passport
