About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, lead, and control allocated resources for the Propulsion/Avionics Engineering Departments
- Assist NASA and Senior Management in the development of detailed technical procedures, processes, and requirements
- Address mishaps, process escapes, and contract performance issues
- Identify and prepare resource estimates and comply with PPBE/OP Plan budgets
- Manage resources effectively within budgetary and time constraints
- Develop and set goals for Propulsion/Avionics Engineering managers and engineers, and evaluate performance
- Implement quality, safety, and housekeeping standards
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in a related management area
- At least 10 years of related professional experience
- At least 3 years of successful people management experience
- Valid U.S. driver's license
