Senior Manager Product Development

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple categories of new product development projects from initial concept to product launch
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Design, Brand, and Supply Chain to ensure timely introductions
• Oversee the PD calendar, meetings, and tasks, utilizing Excel and project management tools
• Research market trends and materials to inform future product development
• Monitor project status and milestone timelines to identify and mitigate risks
• Lead key milestone meetings such as costing and prototype reviews
• Review costing and gross margins and present findings to the brand
• Oversee prototype management and ensure adherence to specification packs
• Analyze and report KPIs for brands and categories to drive improvement initiatives
• Manage and develop direct reports, providing regular feedback and career pathing

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of service-related experience in a similar position
• At least 3 years of experience specifically in jewelry
• College degree required
• Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end product development process
• Technical knowledge of watch and jewelry construction
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Analytical decision-making abilities and attention to detail
