Senior Manager, Product Development

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic research and end-to-end development of the Activewear category for Men’s and Women’s
• Manage all new development and counter development of styles
• Build and maintain Development Time and Action Calendars across factories and countries
• Analyze price quotes and work with production to ensure target costs are achieved
• Monitor daily status of fabrics, lab dips, samples, trim, wash, and technical design
• Approve fabrics, yarns, and proto samples for quality, appearance, and construction
• Manage workflow from initial sketch through final placement of styles
• Build, train, and manage the product development team
• Collaborate with buying and marketing teams to ensure successful line launches
• Analyze business results and competitor trends to adjust future product assortments

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of Product Development experience in technical activewear or performance apparel
• Expertise in Men’s and Women’s functional fabrics and specialized construction
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Strong negotiation, time-management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• AFA or AA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
