Senior Manager, Product Development

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic research and end-to-end development of the Activewear category for both Men’s and Women’s performance apparel
• Manage all new development and counter development of styles, ensuring quality products are consistently delivered
• Build and maintain Development Time and Action Calendars across various factories and countries
• Analyze price quotes and collaborate with production teams to achieve target costs regarding fabrics, trims, and yarns
• Monitor daily status of developed products, including lab dips, samples, and technical design, to ensure compliance with lead times
• Approve fabrics, yarns, and proto samples for quality, appearance, construction, and technical specifications
• Manage the pre-production approval process for fits, strike-offs, patterns, and lab dips
• Build, train, and manage the product development team to support business growth
• Collaborate with buying and marketing teams to ensure successful line launches and communicate product knowledge
• Analyze business results and competitor trends to adjust future product assortments

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Development experience with a proven track record in technical activewear or performance apparel
• Expertise in functional fabrics and specialized construction for Men’s and Women’s categories
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• AFA or AA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Excellent time-management, organization, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work onsite in Beverly Hills, CA
