Senior Manager, Product Design CTM - Converse

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the footwear design strategy for Greater China, aligning local consumer insights with global brand direction
• Drive the creation of innovative, scalable footwear franchises and collections for Sports, Streetwear, and Lifestyle consumers
• Lead and mentor a team of designers, setting high standards for creativity, execution, and design excellence
• Translate cultural and market insights into clear design direction and compelling product narratives
• Partner with cross-functional leaders in Product, Merchandising, Development, and Marketing to ensure end-to-end product success
• Oversee the full creative process from concept to final product, ensuring quality and timeline adherence
• Present design strategies and concepts to senior leadership to influence business decisions
• Drive innovation in design processes, including the use of digital and 3D capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
• 10–12+ years of experience in Footwear or Product Design
• Proven leadership experience managing high-performing design teams
• Demonstrated track record of delivering commercially successful products or franchises
• Strong ability to define and execute design strategy and creative vision
• Deep understanding of consumer insights, cultural trends, and market dynamics
• Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for engaging senior leadership
• Fluent working English; bilingual skills are preferred
• Ability to travel approximately 20%
