Senior Manager, Product Data Science

Responsibilities

• Serve as the tech lead and manager of a Data Science team within the Product organization
• Leverage AI tools and functions to accelerate product development and data-driven decision-making
• Mentor team members in core DS disciplines and the governed use of generative AI tools
• Drive focus toward AI-native deliverables, including Agentic services and semantic views
• Act as a hands-on primary data scientist for validating AI-powered analysis and developing POCs
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to develop bottoms-up product ideas
• Manage team growth and recruitment efforts

Requirements

• Masters or PhD in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
• 10+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• 5+ years of experience building and leading high-performing data science teams
• Proven experience using data science to optimize user experience
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Python
• Demonstrated experience using internal AI tools to build scalable data pipelines
• Advanced knowledge of Machine Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Ability to communicate and influence complex ideas to cross-functional stakeholders
