Senior Manager, Product Data Science & Analytics

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and grow a team of Product Analysts and Data Scientists
• Drive effective goal-setting, planning, and execution processes including OKRs
• Set and raise the bar for analytical quality, experimentation rigour, and data science application
• Partner with senior Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial leaders to shape roadmaps
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical and data science problems
• Drive adoption of scalable analytical frameworks and AI-enabled tooling
• Champion best practices in experimentation, causal inference, and segmentation
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with Data Platform and Data Engineering functions
• Identify and remove systemic blockers to high-quality analytics delivery

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data science or a similar quantitative role supporting a product organization
• Expert level proficiency in Python and SQL
• Deep experience with statistical modeling, (quasi) experimentation, and machine learning techniques
• Demonstrated ability to define and operationalise product and feature-level metrics
• Proven track record of driving strategic impact and leading technical discussions
• Experience scaling analytics or data science capabilities through automation or self-service tools
• Outstanding leadership skills including mentoring and coaching teams
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-scale technology, marketplace, e-commerce, or travel tech
• Strong technical background in Product Data Science or Machine Learning prior to leadership
• Experience building experimentation platforms or measurement frameworks
• Experience applying AI, LLMs, or Agentic AI to improve analytics productivity
