About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing global applications team
- Set team priorities and execution frameworks to ensure high-quality technical engagement
- Translate customer and market needs into actionable product requirements and strategic insights
- Partner with design, systems, marketing, and field organizations to drive cross-functional alignment
- Guide the team in supporting complex OEM and Tier 1 integration of BMS hardware, software, and system solutions
- Oversee the development of reference designs, evaluation platforms, and application support collateral
- Drive continuous improvement in technical tools, processes, and customer-support scalability
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams (applications, validation, systems, or similar)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence engineering and business stakeholders
- Ability to navigate complex system-level concepts and challenges
- Passion for developing people and driving customer success
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automotive or industrial system design and processes
- Knowledge of battery systems, battery chemistry, and state-estimation algorithms (SOC, SOH)
- Familiarity with Functional Safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
- Proficiency with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, or UART
- Experience with system modeling and simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink or SPICE
