Senior Manager - Procurement

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for major construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Manage team deliverables by setting individual objectives, managing performance, and fostering professional development.
• Execute and administer complex contract agreements and maintain effective communication with vendors.
• Implement procurement department strategies, policies, processes, and controls to drive excellence and compliance.
• Coordinate with various departments to understand scope owner needs and develop comprehensive procurement plans.
• Manage vendor negotiations to optimize costs, minimize risks, and ensure the adoption of approved contract terms.
• Oversee the compilation and regular updating of qualified vendor lists based on performance evaluations.
• Support change order requests through contract review and amendment in alignment with governance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant procurement management experience within mega or large-scale complex design and construction programs.
• Expert knowledge of procurement legislation and its practical application.
• Proficiency in enterprise-level management software such as Ariba, Prism, or SAP.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage workloads and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or CSCP.
• Previous professional experience working in the KSA or the Middle East.
