Senior Manager Procurement

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and stakeholder objectives.
• Identify qualified suppliers through market research and manage relationships to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Manage sourcing strategies including single sourcing, competitive bidding, and framework agreements.
• Lead negotiations with vendors to optimize costs and minimize risks while ensuring contract compliance.
• Oversee the preparation of procurement documentation such as RFPs, bid evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Provide direction, mentorship, and coaching to the procurement team to foster professional growth.
• Collaborate with departmental teams to identify procurement needs and develop integrated solutions.
• Manage departmental objectives and ensure adherence to procurement program timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement management or a related role.
• Proven track record in developing successful procurement strategies and achieving cost savings.
• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
