Senior Manager, Procurement

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial negotiations for significant software, SaaS, infrastructure, cloud, AI, and professional services contracts.
• Manage and mature the vendor portfolio by rationalizing the supplier base and building relationships that provide commercial leverage.
• Partner with FP&A to maintain a forward-looking procurement pipeline, flagging renewals and commitment risks.
• Serve as the primary procurement partner to Engineering, IT, Finance, and Legal teams.
• Report to the CFO on strategic spend deals, procurement pipelines, and key performance metrics.
• Coach and develop a team of procurement and sourcing specialists to improve software deal expertise.
• Drive improvements in procurement processes and systems using tools like Workday, Airtable, and emerging AI technology.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate contract analysis, negotiation preparation, and spend reporting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of procurement experience with deep expertise in software, SaaS, cloud, and infrastructure deals.
• Proven track record of leading high-stakes commercial negotiations and structuring complex multi-year agreements.
• Experience managing or developing procurement or sourcing professionals with a focus on coaching.
• Strong understanding of how procurement decisions impact budgets, accruals, and FP&A planning.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide concise recommendations to executive-level audiences.
• Proficiency with modern procurement tools (intake, contract management, spend visibility).
• Experience using AI tools (such as Claude or Airtable) to increase personal leverage and output quality.
