About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for procurement use cases including predictive modeling, classification, and anomaly detection
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact AI/data science use cases across the source-to-pay (S2P) lifecycle
  • Develop scalable data pipelines and integrate AI solutions with procurement platforms like SAP Ariba or Coupa
  • Define and structure procurement data models and ensure data quality, governance, and traceability
  • Act as a translator between procurement, IT, and data teams to present insights in a business-friendly way
  • Experiment with advanced techniques such as generative AI and optimization algorithms to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Risk Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related domain
  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and strong SQL skills for data manipulation
  • Proven experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills using tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, AI, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, or PMP
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) for contract analytics and optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data tools like Spark or Databricks
  • Exposure to MLOps practices including CI/CD, model monitoring, and versioning
