Senior Manager, Portfolio Management – Capital Investments & MREF

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and portfolio strategies for Capital Investments and Manufacturing Real Estate & Facility Services (MREF) in alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead and develop a global team supporting portfolios across the Americas and APAC regions.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain Engineering, Facilities, and Operations to align sourcing with infrastructure requirements.
• Lead sourcing activities, including RFQ and RFP processes, for capital equipment, automation systems, and facility construction projects.
• Negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage strategic supplier relationships to optimize quality, service, and cost.
• Evaluate investment opportunities using total cost of ownership (TCO) principles over 5-to-10-year planning horizons.
• Influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership on sourcing and investment decisions through financial and strategic analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, category management, or portfolio management.
• Significant exposure to Capital Investments, facility construction, and/or MREF categories.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, automation systems, and manufacturing infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading geographically dispersed teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage capital investment portfolios using lifecycle cost modeling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the medical device industry or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to drive investment decisions through advanced financial and commercial analysis.
• Ability to address complex issues with impact beyond the immediate team.
