Senior Manager, Pensions, Actuarial

Responsibilities

• Review numerical and written advice and liaise directly with clients
• Manage client projects within agreed scope and budget with minimal supervision
• Lead client project teams and delegate work effectively
• Create work deliverables based on specific client requirements
• Provide pensions expertise and opinions within larger cross-service line projects
• Support the senior management team with marketing initiatives
• Build effective relationships within the market and the EY network
• Mentor, train, and develop team members through regular feedback

Requirements

• Deep knowledge and experience of the UK pensions environment
• Previous experience working in a consulting environment, ideally on corporate work or BPA transactions
• Actuarial modelling experience and the ability to oversee actuarial calculations
• Strong project management and client relationship management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven track record of achieving value outcomes for clients and managing multiple stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively with complexity and ambiguity
• Strong commercial awareness and a self-starter attitude
