Senior Manager - Payroll DACH

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership and development for the DACH region payroll team
• Ensure timely, accurate, and legally compliant payroll processing for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
• Manage complex payroll topics including stock programs, split contracts, assignments, and company pension schemes
• Drive the optimization and automation of payroll and HR processes using SAP HCM
• Create reports, KPIs, accruals, and personnel evaluations while supporting internal and external audits
• Coordinate salary and bonus processes in close collaboration with HR, Finance, and global stakeholders
• Manage relationships with external partners, authorities, and service providers within the DACH region

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Economic Law, or a comparable qualification
• Multi-year experience in payroll accounting with leadership responsibility, ideally in an international DACH environment
• Deep expertise in tax and social security law and experience with complex payroll scenarios
• Proficient user knowledge of SAP HCM and advanced Excel skills
• Business fluent English skills for collaboration with international stakeholders
• Structured, solution-oriented working style with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
