Senior Manager - Payments Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, resilient, end-to-end payment solutions that align with client architectural standards.
• Lead technology modernization journeys for global financial clients, including banks, fintechs, and PSPs.
• Act as a technical conduit between business lines and technology functions to translate use cases into robust designs.
• Support the sale of new engagements by providing technical content and credibility to propositions.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute actively to technology and business domain communities of interest.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in solution architecture, either in consulting or within a leading organization's architecture function.
• Proven track record of creating technical solution architectures that integrate business domain knowledge.
• Deep understanding of modern and emerging technologies and the ability to engage with senior technology leaders.
• Demonstrated experience delivering business and technology transformations, including providing clear documentation for engineering teams.
• Extensive domain expertise in payments, including banking, domestic/international processing, retail, commercial, and wholesale.
• Strong interpersonal and consulting skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication skills for delivering concise technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the regulatory environment impacting technology organizations.
• Curiosity and familiarity with emerging domains such as AI, Gen AI, and Distributed Ledger Technology.
• Prior experience in a professional consulting environment.
