Senior Manager, Packaging Innovation

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the packaging innovation program, driving strategy and managing cross-functional projects.
• Drive an innovative mindset across packaging functions, working with marketing and operations to deliver concepts to market.
• Support the development and delivery of the packaging innovation pipeline.
• Build and maintain external relationships with third-party packaging suppliers and co-manufacturers.
• Develop packaging risk assessments and lead identification of risks/hazards for each packaging type.
• Manage packaging specification development and execution across the product portfolio.
• Execute compliance testing, regulations, and documentation for all packaging projects.
• Standardize and integrate critical packaging processes, including technical approval and implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience working on packaging projects, materials, and manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food packaging fundamentals and their application to product development.
• Proven expertise in Project Management, specifically for driving complex, large-scale initiatives.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence without authority.
• Proficiency in MS Office programs.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to lift up to 25kg/50lb.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related scientific or engineering field.
• Established industry relationships and strong knowledge in material science.
