Senior Manager or Director, Tax Credit Origination/Finance

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a direct pipeline of corporate tax credit buyers
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate counterparties and advisory firms
• Originate new transaction opportunities and lead them from initial outreach through closing
• Serve as a primary external-facing representative of DESRI
• Collaborate with internal finance, legal, and asset management teams to support transaction execution and diligence
• Track market developments and buyer demand to provide insights on pricing and market dynamics

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree
• 6-8 years of relevant experience in tax credit origination, tax equity, advisory, or related corporate finance roles
• Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and originate transactions
• Existing network of corporate contacts, particularly within tax advisory firms or corporate tax departments
• Experience in a commercial, client-facing role with exposure to deal execution
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with renewable energy tax credits
