About the role
Responsibilities
- Track progress and planning of major and priority projects in a digital format
- Provide regularly scheduled update reports on all projects
- Lead team members on new project planning and revising existing plans
- Analyze project progress to identify and anticipate delays and stall points
- Resolve project delays by coordinating team members, budget units, and vendors
- Maintain files for current and completed projects
- Manage space request submission programs and tracking
- Assist project leads in preparing needs estimates for funding, contracts, and staffing
Requirements
- BA degree in any major
- 18 months of full-time professional experience related to the work performed
- Experience or education in public and urban policy
- Experience in project tracking, reporting, and analysis
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with NYC government purchasing, contracts, and budgets
- Experience working with construction and trades vendors
- Experience working for a New York City government agency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
