About the role

Responsibilities

  • Track progress and planning of major and priority projects in a digital format
  • Provide regularly scheduled update reports on all projects
  • Lead team members on new project planning and revising existing plans
  • Analyze project progress to identify and anticipate delays and stall points
  • Resolve project delays by coordinating team members, budget units, and vendors
  • Maintain files for current and completed projects
  • Manage space request submission programs and tracking
  • Assist project leads in preparing needs estimates for funding, contracts, and staffing

Requirements

  • BA degree in any major
  • 18 months of full-time professional experience related to the work performed
  • Experience or education in public and urban policy
  • Experience in project tracking, reporting, and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with NYC government purchasing, contracts, and budgets
  • Experience working with construction and trades vendors
  • Experience working for a New York City government agency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
