Senior Manager of Fraud Strategy and Analytics

Responsibilities

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on fraud, including first-party, third-party, synthetic identity, and payments fraud.
• Evolve and expand fraud prevention and detection strategies in alignment with company objectives.
• Utilize analytics and data mining to identify patterns, trends, and emerging fraud risks.
• Partner with the Data Science team to develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms for advanced detection.
• Manage real-time fraud attacks by partnering with Engineering, Operations, Payments, and Product teams to close attack vectors.
• Play an active role in the product development cycle by identifying possible fraud vectors and mitigants.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a strong fraud prevention culture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Fraud, with at least 1 year specifically in fraud prevention or strategy.
• Experience working within digital banking, payments, or payment networks.
• Proficiency in SQL and strong analytical/data mining skills.
• Proven ability to frame business decisions and tradeoffs through quantitative analysis and visualization.
• Experience mitigating risks related to onboarding, transaction activities, and account compromise.
• Ability to evaluate new vendors and manage their integration into production.
