Senior Manager of Design Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the LTCC Design Team in developing high-performance RF and microwave circuits, components, and sub-assemblies including filters, power splitters, couplers, and baluns.
• Manage the full product development lifecycle from concept through production, ensuring designs are manufacturable and meet specifications within budget and time constraints.
• Direct the group's analysis and simulation efforts using EDA software such as PSpice, Genesys, ADS, HFSS, and CST.
• Supervise, train, and mentor Design and Applications Engineers while defining KPIs and performance objectives.
• Interface with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain departments to guide material qualification and manufacturability reviews.
• Drive technical vision and product roadmap execution in alignment with the LTCC Business Unit strategy.

Requirements

• BSEE with 13+ years of related design and management experience, or MSEE with 10+ years of experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in microwave circuit design of passive components operating into the mmWave range.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience specifically in RF Filter design.
• Proven experience managing multi-functional engineering development groups.
• Strong expertise in circuit and EM simulation (2.5D and 3D techniques) and real-world lab analysis/debug.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within an ISO company practicing LEAN manufacturing.
• Proven experience developing products under a Phase Gated Process (PGP).
