Senior Manager – OEC

Responsibilities

• Drive the deployment of complex compliance program elements for the EPD division in India
• Act as a trusted advisor to business units, providing policy guidance and operational advice in line with Abbott requirements
• Conduct compliance risk assessments to identify potential risk areas and implement management programs
• Develop and implement compliance monitoring plans and drive data analytics to gain actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of ethics and compliance policies
• Manage data privacy compliance, including DPDP requirements, and serve as a central point of contact for data processing records
• Conduct compliance training for new joiners and customized sessions for specific groups
• Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, anti-bribery laws, and industry codes
• Manage corporate and external audit requirements

Requirements

• Life sciences Graduate or above, Lawyer, or CA
• 10+ years of professional experience, including compliance roles within a multinational healthcare or pharmaceutical company
• Demonstrated understanding of the Indian compliance landscape, including relevant laws and industry codes
• Working knowledge of Data Privacy management and DPDP implementation
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for data-driven compliance monitoring
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment
