Senior Manager, Network Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the Network Operations team through infrastructure modernization from physical data centers to cloud-native architecture
• Drive automation using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Manage AWS cloud networking including VPCs, Transit Gateways, and Direct Connect
• Oversee physical Points of Presence (POPs) and colocation facilities
• Manage corporate network infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki and ISP relationships
• Lead technical teams through performance management and career development
• Maintain 99.999% uptime through proactive monitoring and incident response
• Negotiate contracts and SLAs with vendors and colocation providers

Requirements

• 7+ years of network engineering experience in production environments
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing technical teams
• Deep expertise with Cisco switching, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and Palo Alto firewalls
• Practical knowledge of AWS cloud networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route53)
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code
• Proficiency in network automation, scripting, and DevOps practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in payments, financial services, or highly regulated industries
• Familiarity with PCI-DSS compliance frameworks
• Industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, PCNSE, or AWS Advanced Networking
• Experience with network observability tools
• Background in cloud migration or infrastructure modernization initiatives
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies
