About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the strategic direction for ASOS menswear brand activity, ensuring it is insight-led and culturally relevant.
  • Develop a clear menswear point of view that connects fashion authority, product relevance, and styling confidence.
  • Translate audience insights and category dynamics into actionable guidance for campaigns, content, talent, and channel activation.
  • Create a 6-month menswear strategy and activation roadmap aligned with the wider brand marketing calendar.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Brand Marketing, Creative, Social, Talent, PR, and Commercial to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Work with Product and Styling teams to identify hero products and shift storytelling toward useful, confidence-building fashion guidance.
  • Define KPIs and monitor performance across brand, social, and commercial indicators to optimize future activity.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in brand strategy, marketing strategy, or consumer strategy, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or retail.
  • Deep understanding of menswear culture, customer behavior, and product storytelling.
  • Proven ability to translate complex insights into clear strategic choices, briefs, and narratives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic judgment with the ability to balance brand ambition and cultural relevance with commercial reality.
  • Highly organized and capable of bringing structure and pace to a fast-moving, fixed-term workstream.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specific experience working within menswear, youth culture, streetwear, or creator-led marketing.
  • Experience developing category strategies that connect audience insight with commercial priorities.
  • Experience shaping campaign briefs, go-to-market plans, or social-first content strategies.
  • Understanding of the roles of paid, owned, and earned channels in building shareable and performance-aware activity.
