Senior Manager, Medical Content SME

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end medical content development to ensure alignment with Medical Affairs strategic input
• Manage medical content agency partners regarding asset creation, adaptation, and production quality
• Ensure clear review pathways and accountability for the approval and dissemination of medical content
• Project manage sprint planning and execution within pod-based teams to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain oversight for medical content tagging, management, and performance measurement readiness
• Participate in Medical Affairs strategy sessions to align content priorities with organizational objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, or related) preferred
• 5–8+ years of experience in medical affairs, medical communications, or scientific strategy within pharma or healthcare
• Proven experience supporting congresses, MSL materials, and scientific exchange
• Deep understanding of FDA/EMA medical communication guidelines and compliance frameworks
• Experience with vendor management and procurement processes
• Strong ability to validate scientific data and conduct rigorous medical content reviews
