Senior Manager, Medical Affairs

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute medical strategy and scientific projects for HIV in Australia
• Conduct insight-driven medical education and communication activities across digital, face-to-face, and print platforms
• Provide strategic support for local Medical Affairs publication planning and advisory programs
• Present scientific and clinical data to healthcare professionals to support safe and effective product use
• Lead the medical and scientific review of local promotional materials
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, Marketing, Market Access, and Regulatory Affairs
• Partner with clinical operations to provide scientific support to trial sites
• Serve as an internal scientific expert on the HIV therapy area and healthcare landscape
• Represent the company within the external multidisciplinary scientific and HCP community

Requirements

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree
• Minimum 5 years of Medical Affairs experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
• Deep understanding of complex HIV ecosystems and patient journeys
• Experience in both pre-launch and post-launch settings
• Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills
• Ability to work autonomously and lead within matrix teams
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
• Adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior knowledge specifically within the HIV therapeutic area
• Established professional relationships with existing HIV networks
