Senior Manager, Materials Management

Responsibilities

• Own the full materials lifecycle including planning, inventory management, warehousing, and material flow to operations
• Align materials strategy with business objectives such as on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and quality
• Develop and execute inventory strategies that balance service levels with working capital efficiency
• Oversee demand planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes
• Lead warehouse, receiving, storage, and internal distribution operations
• Partner with sourcing and procurement teams to improve supplier reliability and mitigate supply risk
• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of materials, planning, and warehouse professionals
• Ensure alignment with quality and regulatory requirements to support audits and traceability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in supply chain, materials management, logistics, or operations leadership
• Experience leading teams in complex, fast-paced environments with changing demand patterns
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive decisions
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected status)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated or quality-driven industries such as aerospace, medical devices, or automotive
• Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) or service-based supply chains
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Lean or Six Sigma continuous improvement certification
