About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray characterization of crystalline thin film grown/deposition
- Correlate X-ray characterization with material quality and Electro-Opto device performance
- Provide timely feedback to growth/deposition teams with recommendations for material quality improvement
- Lead the development of novel metrologies into full SOP for thin crystalline film
- Manage relationships and technical requirements with metrology apparatus vendors and suppliers
Requirements
- MS or PhD degree in material science or related disciplines
- 5+ years of direct industry experience using X-ray characterization
- 3+ years of industry experience in STEM/EDS, SEM, SIMS, AFM, SE, or Raman
- Experience with XPS
Preferred Qualifications
- Silicon (Si) technology related experience
