About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the marketing technology stack, including lifecycle infrastructure for email and SMS and conversion tracking systems.
- Manage the Iterable platform end-to-end, including journey architecture, lifecycle triggers, and audience management.
- Oversee the CDP (Segment Personas) to define audience segments and ensure clean data flows to lifecycle tools.
- Build AI-powered, modular email and SMS template systems to increase team velocity.
- Own Google Tag Manager and Segment event taxonomy, partnering with Engineering to implement CAPI and server-side tracking.
- Develop automated workflows for budget pacing, performance anomaly detection, and campaign QA using Python and AI tools.
- Partner with Growth Science on measurement planning, budget allocation, and incrementality testing.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of marketing operations experience, specifically in lifecycle or email platform ownership at scale.
- Expertise in Iterable, Braze, or comparable enterprise-scale ESPs.
- Experience with CDP platforms such as Segment Personas.
- Strong technical skills in HTML/CSS for responsive templates and ability to read JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of GTM, CAPI, enhanced conversions, and server-side tracking.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and no-code automation tools (e.g., Gumloop, Make, Zapier).
- Proficiency in SQL for campaign analysis and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to drive data infrastructure requirements through Engineering and Product teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-consideration, high-value transactional industries like real estate or financial services.
- Experience with experimentation platforms such as Amplitude or Optimizely.
- Proficiency with Figma for template prototyping.
- Background in analytics engineering or data visualization tools like Looker, Mode, or Tableau.
