Senior Manager Manufacturing – Production Process Owners

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor manufacturing process owners to foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Provide end-to-end process governance and execution support within Drug Product Supply operations.
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with cGMP, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.
• Drive process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing tools to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Automation, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex execution topics and facilitate key site governance forums.
• Support inspection and audit readiness by ensuring disciplined documentation and escalation pathways.

Requirements

• Doctorate with 2 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience OR
• Master's degree with 6 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience OR
• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience OR
• Associate's degree with 10 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience OR
• High school diploma/GED with 12 years of Manufacturing and Operations experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience directly managing people or leading teams, projects, and programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience in Drug Product manufacturing, including aseptic processing, filling, or packaging.
• Strong working knowledge of cGMP operations, CAPAs, change control, and audit readiness.
• Proven ability to apply lean manufacturing, operational excellence, or continuous improvement tools.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
