Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations for a specific area, ensuring high performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture.
• Drive daily execution and long-term improvement through disciplined operational routines and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including salaried and hourly production employees, to meet annual operational plans and plant objectives.
• Champion continuous improvement by identifying factory inefficiencies, conducting root cause analysis, and leading Kaizen events.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and safety protocols, including the implementation of standardized work and 5S practices.
• Manage department budgets, track key performance metrics, and resolve operational abnormalities through established escalation processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, supplier management, or project implementation.
• BS/BA degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and driving continuous improvement using DMAIC, work-out, or similar methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, facilitate meetings, and develop emerging leaders.
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering measurable results through disciplined execution.
