Senior Manager, Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Meet production and shipping schedules while ensuring total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Supervise and mentor departmental managers regarding company values, policies, procedures, and performance standards
• Coordinate plant activities through strategic planning with departmental managers
• Monitor production to maintain efficiencies and establish overall plant performance for production and quality standards
• Manage departments to ensure budget requirements are met and control labor overtime, premium freight, and repair expenses
• Enforce company safety programs and policies
• Communicate with the Engineering Department regarding maintenance methods and Quality Assurance concerns
• Suggest new manufacturing methods to achieve maximum productivity within a continuous process improvement and lean manufacturing environment
• Ensure production and job time records are accurate and complete

Requirements

• 10-12 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

• BS degree in manufacturing or operations management
