Senior Manager M&A

Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring and execution of complex national and international M&A transactions
• Identify acquisition opportunities and perform company valuations in coordination with top management
• Lead and manage interdisciplinary project teams throughout all phases of the transaction process
• Support negotiations, deal structuring, and implementation, including purchase price mechanisms and contract design
• Prepare and present decision-relevant documentation for the Executive Board and Supervisory Board
• Provide expertise and support for post-merger integration processes
• Develop M&A processes, standards, tools, governance structures, and best practices
• Act as a mentor and provide professional guidance to team members

Requirements

• Completed degree in Economics, Business Engineering, or a comparable field of study
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in M&A (Investment Banking, Consulting, or Corporate M&A)
• Proven track record of independently leading complex transactions
• Experience in project team leadership and stakeholder management at the top-management level
• Deep knowledge of company valuation, deal structuring, and contract negotiations
• Strong strategic thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, and execution strength
• Fluency in both German and English
• Readiness for travel
