Senior Manager, Logistics

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee domestic and international cold chain shipments between CMOs, warehouses, 3PLs, and other supply chain nodes
• Serve as the logistics lead for network re-supply, working with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Ensure timely and compliant execution of shipments, including documentation, courier booking, and import/export activities
• Troubleshoot logistics issues and implement corrective actions
• Ensure all activities comply with GMP, GDP, and international trade regulations
• Support 3PL setup for commercial launches and develop necessary SOPs and Work Instructions
• Monitor courier, warehouse, and 3PL performance to drive improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or trade compliance within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare
• Operational experience managing material movements across CMOs, 3PLs, and warehouses in a global network
• Experience supporting clinical and/or commercial supply chains and launch activities
• Working knowledge of GMP/GDP standards, cold chain logistics, and international shipping regulations
• Solid knowledge of customs clearance and import/export regulations
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, IATA, SCPro)
• Experience with logistics systems such as Oracle or SAP
