Senior Manager, Localization and Content

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale iHerb’s global localization function across 36+ languages, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Design and implement optimal localization frameworks, guidelines, and workflows to drive operational excellence.
• Evaluate and apply emerging translation technologies, including AI, Machine Translation, and LLM-powered workflows.
• Manage the localization budget, including forecasting, planning, and cost optimization.
• Oversee vendor relationships with LSPs and contractors, establishing performance metrics and conducting regular reviews.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Compliance teams to embed localization early in the development lifecycle and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage end-to-end localized user journeys and CMS-driven localization workflows.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in localization, translation, or content operations.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing operational teams.
• Deep understanding of content lifecycle management (planning, production, QA, and publishing).
• Strong understanding of translation quality frameworks, tools, CMS platforms, and vendor ecosystems.
• Proven ability to build scalable processes, playbooks, and operational frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align diverse cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
