About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide primary legal support for U.S. Manufacturing & Technical Operations (MTO), including manufacturing sites, procurement, and quality functions.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage regional commercial agreements such as supply, manufacturing, quality, service, and technology transfer contracts.
- Lead legal management of supplier issues, including performance challenges, risk assessments, and dispute resolution.
- Support site operational needs including manufacturing-related leases, facilities agreements, and equipment procurement.
- Advise on compliance and regulatory matters related to manufacturing, including anti-bribery, third-party due diligence, and privacy.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Quality, Operations, Regulatory, Compliance, HR, Tax, and Finance.
- Manage or support litigation, investigations, and regulatory inquiries affecting U.S.-based operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
- 7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
- Active US legal license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree with excellent academic credentials.
- Experience in commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, or regulatory law within a highly regulated environment.
- Strong drafting and negotiation expertise with complex commercial and technology-transfer agreements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment.
- Experience managing external counsel and interacting with senior executives.
