Senior Manager, Learning & Development

Responsibilities

• Design and execute thorough needs assessments to identify technical and functional skill requirements across major disciplines.
• Translate insights into a multi-quarter functional training roadmap for Art, Engineering, Game Design, Product, and Production.
• Partner directly with Discipline Council leads to prioritize initiatives that drive business value.
• Collaborate with AI stakeholders to integrate AI training and enablement into the functional training roadmap.
• Partner with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design technically accurate and high-retention learning interventions.
• Curate and manage craft-specific learning paths within platforms such as Cornerstone or Pluralsight.
• Scale a "Peers Teaching Peers" culture to encourage internal knowledge sharing and reduce reliance on external vendors.
• Measure L&D impact by focusing on performance outcomes and behavioral change rather than simple completion rates.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Technical Training, Instructional Design, or Talent Development.
• Deep expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Proven experience building and delivering scalable learning programs from concept to daily use.
• Experience with Cornerstone on Demand or other Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Technical fluency and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, artists, and product managers.
• Strong understanding of game development cycles and creative pipelines.
• Strategic agility to align the needs of multiple distinct functional councils into a cohesive global strategy.
