About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement overall communications strategies and support leadership communications for a global law firm.
- Act as a trusted communications advisor to firm leadership, managing competing priorities and driving execution of high-quality solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and firm management to ensure consistent messaging across internal and external channels.
- Lead firm communication projects, campaigns, and messaging alignment for diverse audiences across the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
- Plan, write, and edit content for various channels, including leadership emails, internal newsletters, presentations, and video scripts.
- Develop timely communications plans for firm issues affecting organizational morale, perception, and reputation.
- Manage and mentor a small team of communications professionals.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional communications experience.
- 3+ years of managerial experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience working within a Fortune 500, Big Law, or Big Four environment.
- Strong executive-level presence with the ability to influence actions and build relationships with diverse constituencies.
- Ability to work effectively within a matrixed environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the legal or professional services industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to act as an independently motivated self-starter.
