Senior Manager, IT Risk and Controls

Responsibilities

• Lead SOX compliance and ITGC initiatives across access management, change management, and system operations.
• Partner with IT stakeholders to ensure alignment on SOX and IT controls scope, design, and execution.
• Provide hands-on support for deficiency root cause analysis and remediation planning.
• Govern system-based controls and reconciliation processes across ERP platforms, including SAP ECC and S4/HANA.
• Lead IT risk assessments identifying gaps in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), data flows, and emerging AI-enabled tools.
• Drive the transition from manual, detective controls to preventive and automated controls.
• Act as a primary liaison between the IT organization and internal/external auditors.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT risk, IT audit, SOX IT controls, or technology risk management.
• Deep knowledge of ITGC frameworks and their application in SOX compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP (control design, user access, and segregation of duties).
• Familiarity with control automation tools such as BlackLine, RPA, or GRC platforms.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical risks into business language.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% throughout the year.

Preferred Qualifications

• CISA certification (strongly preferred), CISSP, or CPA.
• Experience with identity governance platforms like SailPoint or Saviynt.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
