About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Technology Regulatory Compliance in implementing the IT&S Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Framework.
- Identify regulatory obligations and controls across technology and security risk domains.
- Collaborate with Business Lines and technology teams to document controls and map them to enterprise-level obligations.
- Maintain the regulatory library by updating obligations and related control documentation.
- Assess inherent risk, control strength, and evaluate residual risk.
- Develop technology and security control testing methodologies and identify tools to assist execution.
- Create and maintain reporting and analytics to monitor compliance measures and drive gap remediation.
- Partner with global risk groups to enhance controls, frameworks, policies, and risk metrics.
Requirements
- BA, Postgraduate degree, or LL.B.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, or Control Functions (Audit, Risk, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and industry frameworks such as OSFI, COBIT, NIST, or ITIL.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with risk management, governance, or audit functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Law degree (LL.B).
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Experience interpreting Information Technology and security regulatory rules.
- Background in IT Risk, IT governance, 3rd party risk management, or Information Security.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA or CISSP.
