Senior Manager, IT Cybersecurity & Compliance

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the IT security and compliance roadmap and operating processes
• Maintain IT security policies, standards, and procedures including IAM, encryption, and incident response
• Conduct security due diligence and ongoing monitoring for third-party vendors
• Run user security training and awareness programs, including phishing simulations
• Support and maintain IT General Controls (ITGC) for SOX compliance
• Partner with Privacy/Legal to support GDPR and other regulatory requirements
• Ensure IT controls support GxP expectations in a regulated environment
• Manage the vulnerability management program, including scanning and remediation
• Coordinate IT security incident response activities and investigations
• Serve as the primary IT contact for internal/external audits and customer assessments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of progressive experience in IT, information security, risk management, or IT compliance
• Demonstrated experience supporting SOX IT General Controls
• Working knowledge of GDPR security requirements
• Experience operating in regulated environments (e.g., pharma, biotech, or medical devices)
• Hands-on experience with third-party security assessments and SOC report reviews
• Strong understanding of IAM, endpoint security, network security, and cloud security
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting policies and standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC
• Experience with frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or SOC 2
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with GRC tooling and vendor risk platforms
• Experience building and scaling security programs in high-growth organizations
