Senior Manager, IT Business Management

Responsibilities

• Manage and support financial planning, analysis, and reporting to enable effective expense management for Global Banking and Markets technology.
• Produce insightful business commentary and narrative explanations for Management and Executive Committees and Board materials.
• Provide end-to-end financial oversight of the annual budget process, including forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Analyze and manage technology cost allocations across business units to improve transparency and scalability.
• Lead the financial governance process for new business cases, including validating CAPEX and OPEX assumptions.
• Develop and embed policies, procedures, and controls related to operational financials and resource management.
• Support regulatory requests and inquiries, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all responses.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience in financial management, business management, or technology finance within a large, regulated organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or a STEM discipline.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including experience managing large datasets and developing analytical tools.
• Deep expertise in financial and management reporting and banking business planning processes.
• Demonstrated experience with financial and reporting tools such as Power BI and Apptio.
• Strong ability to translate complex data into executive-ready visualizations and insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or professional designation such as CPA.
• Experience with PPM, PeopleSoft, SmartView, or MARS.
