Senior Manager, Internal Audit & Risk Advisory Services

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in audits of League Information Technology (IT) operations and compliance reviews for member clubs, stadiums, and contractors
• Work with the Senior Director to develop and schedule annual audit plans
• Plan, manage, and complete all work program steps for League department audits and various stakeholder reviews
• Supervise external staff in the conduct of audits and reviews
• Review audit findings with League, club, and stadium management
• Draft comprehensive audit reports and contribute to executive presentations
• Conduct follow-up work to evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions taken by management
• Monitor quality, efficiency, and throughput key performance metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Business Information Systems, or Computer Science/Engineering
• 7-10 years of internal or external audit experience
• Mandatory certification: CISA, CISM, or CISSP
• Strong technical foundation in network/cloud architecture, infrastructure security, and ITGC
• Ability to work onsite in New York, NY (minimum 40 hours per week)
• Ability to travel 30% - 40%+ depending on the audit cycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications such as CIA, CRISC, or Cybersecurity Audit Certificate
• Experience managing audits via co-sourced arrangements
• Expertise with cybersecurity frameworks
• Prior experience conducting audits of industrial technology systems
• Working knowledge of PCI DSS, HIPAA, and CCPA compliance frameworks
