Senior Manager, Information Systems

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Site Technology Sustainment team to provide 24/7 global operational support for manufacturing technology capabilities.
• Manage and develop a large, diverse team in India, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning.
• Oversee the software development lifecycle and implement strategic plans for technology and workforce.
• Partner with local System Owners at manufacturing sites to ensure service quality, compliance, and issue resolution.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes using ServiceNow to maintain manufacturing uptime and product quality.
• Drive root cause analysis, service performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support regulatory audits and inspections by providing technology-focused responses regarding system functionality and remediation.
• Manage operating budgets and ensure alignment of technology service plans across the organization.

Requirements

• 12-17 years of experience in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing technology initiatives and leading large, matrixed teams.
• Strong understanding of GxP, GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity requirements.
• Experience applying technology best practice methodologies such as Scaled Agile (SAFe) and ITIL.
• Familiarity with MES, OSI PI, or SCADA/automation platforms.
• Experience with DeltaV, LIMS, or SAP (ERP).
• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings or nights, to support 24/7 global operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in ITIL.
• Professional certification in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Leadership experience within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology organization.
• Extensive experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
